I’m Anna Mata i Riera, and I grew up with the sea very close. Since I was a child I have been passionate about collecting the little treasures hidden in the sand, always with the sea as a companion. Over time, that hobby for collecting treasures turned into the desire to give them a new life: to transform memories into jewels, as a way of creating and living.
In this way, each piece in the Riera Joies collections becomes a tangible memory, created to connect with those who also love nature and the simplicity of authenticity.
Once in the Ciutadella workshop, I choose the best composition for each design, with delicacy, patience and love, creating sustainable jewelry. Our garments are handmade and soulfully designed for you to take a piece of the Mediterranean Sea with you.
Each piece of jewelry is unique by nature. The details of the artisanal process mean that no two are ever the same, and this uniqueness makes them amulets.
