I met Sílvia, Pau, and Mia a few years ago at a Christmas market in Gràcia. We laughed as Pau told me that Sílvia had dreamed she’d stolen one of my rings and had felt terrible about it. They’d traveled a long way to see my jewelry in person, and we hit it off right away.
Since then, they’ve come to see me many times in Menorca, Granollers, and Barcelona. Over time, they’ve become friends. I’ve watched Mia grow up and welcomed little Max into the story as their family grew.
This spring, all four of them visited me at La Porxada in Granollers. Sílvia already has quite a collection of my jewelry, and Pau finally chose his first stone ring. That day, Mia fell in love with a ring with a blue crystal, but it was still a little too big for her. We agreed I’d keep it for her until the summer.
And that’s exactly what happened. When they came to Ciutadella that summer, I couldn’t resist giving Mia a gift: the blue ring, which finally fit her.
