Kilian and Kiowa were leaving for an indefinite journey, one to Asia and the other to South America. They wanted to give each other a ring as a gift to remind them of one another and make them feel accompanied during the journey. So the ring I made thinking of Kilian would be worn by Kiowa, and vice versa.
Kiowa told me the words “strength, intelligence, and sincerity” to describe me, Kilian, which brought to mind the color emerald green, and Kilian told me “transparency, calm, and willpower” to describe Kiowa, which brought to mind the color sky blue.
